APL have invested in Gen Two Real Estate’s light industrial scheme in Fowlmere, Cambridge. The project received unanimous consent in November 2023 for 125,000 sq ft R & D campus.

74,500 sq ft of predominantly existing industrial space with smaller areas of R&D and a former laboratory spread across 5 buildings on a site of just over 5 acres. The site lies within the South Cambridge science cluster closely located to Babraham Research Park, Melbourn Science Park, the Wellcome Genome Campus and the Chesterford Research Park.
STRATEGY
The Plan is to create a sustainable laboratory led scheme of c.125,000 sq ft reusing and converting the existing buildings where possible, as well as providing much needed amenities to support the local village.
